Go ahead and open "The Lunch Box" Ocala!

Today the last weekday off before I have to go back to work next week we went to a couple of consignment shops, and had lunch downtown.  If you haven't been to our quaint little downtown area, you really should check it out., it is one of the things I love about the area.  Small town charm!  Ocala is not a big city, we do have most of the amenities and are not a far drive from either coast, Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville - or St. Augustine...one of our favorite places to visit.  There is also a great farmers market downtown every Saturday morning.

But anyway - today we luckily got to The Lunch Box before they closed at 2:30 - and at 2:!2 we just made it!  They are where Mojo's was before they outgrew the it, and I believe they are actually part of the Mojo family of restaurants.  I wish I could say we ate their more frequently, but the hours they are open (7 days a week, 7a-2:30) are not ones we are often out looking for a bite.

The Big Al
If you happen to be out for breakfast, or lunch I encourage you to give them a try, they have a great variety, and some fun specials, one of which my husband got.  I think it was call "The Big AL", two pancakes with scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage sandwiched between two pancakes and --they have absolutely the BEST pancakes around!
The Skinny Hawaiian Chicken Wrap

Now, I was going to have the Chicken Ranch Wrap until the waitress asked me if I had tried the Skinny Hawaiian Chicken Wrap and I'm not afraid to try something someone suggests and am I glad I did - it was great!

No - it isn't a lo-cal place - but it is definitely worth the calories and the prices are very reasonable!
