Worth the drive, I would say it is...hope you think so...

The Beach of Ocala, US Hwy 27
So – this afternoon we took a drive to a place I had spied on Foursquare, it seemed to be fairly close to our house.  The Beach of Ocala, hearing those unfamiliar to Ocala might think of waves washing up on the beach and a bar along the shoreline.  Not the case here, Ocala is in central Florida right along I-75 almost half way between Daytona Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.  Anyway, this place is right on Hwy. 27 between Ocala and Williston just about where 326 meet’s up with Hwy. 27.  It is not a bad drive, especially if it is a pretty day like today, sunny and 78 with no humidity to speak of.
Fried Mac' n' Cheese!

Their Facebook page mentioned that they have the Sunday Ticket so it leads you to believe you would catch any game you wanted, well – she did willingly put the game we wanted to see on one of the three working TV’s but I would think you might want more working ones if you are going to promote watching NFL, and they have what looked to be a great outside area but there are no TV’s outside.

Caprese Salad
But anyway, the inside is light and airy and almost gives the impression of a house off the beach I guess you could say.  We ordered 2 appetizers, split a salad and brought home two Panini’s.  If you are looking for traditional bar fair, such as a burger you won’t find one.  They do have some nice appetizer choices choices and a good variety of Panini offerings.

Crab Pretzle
Will we be going again, sure we will everything we ordered was good, the service was good and I even had two specialty drinks and the price was quite reasonable and budget diet friendly!

I will update with future experiences there, let me know if you enjoy it too!
